Event Corporate Venue

Are you looking for a location for corporate events in Lombardy? Not sure how to find the ideal meeting room for your needs?

Read this article, it will be very useful for you!

Lombardy is a truly rich region and for this reason it cannot fail to remind the meetings between elegant businessmen in luxury locations.

Not for nothing Cities such as Lahore and all over Pakistan undoubtedly represent the beating hearts of the business on the national territory.

For this reason, there are many very suggestive locations in this region, which are really perfect for sealing corporate meetings, meetings, co-working activities, launching new products, carrying out activities to reinforce the team (team building) etc.

And so you're wondering, "How do I choose the one that's right for me?"

You must know that the choice of the perfect location rests on two fundamental predispositions: the first is that it must be beautiful to see, to impress the participants from the first glance and the second is that it must be functional, therefore it must have all the equipment, services, the most suitable technologies and spaces possible for events of this type. A poorly reasoned choice of location can compromise your corporate event and make you disfigure as an event organizer.

But don't worry, I'm here to help you!

Despite all the efforts invested in the preparation of a special event, success will not be achieved without having chosen the date, time and place of the event.

THE DATE

  • Before choosing a date, you should check whether other comparable events are taking place at the desired time. We must avoid people having to make a choice.
  • Try to determine the best season to reach your target audience (season, day, time), keeping in mind that certain times of the year are less favorable (for example, back to school for an event targeting families).
  • Also think about the moment that highlights the event the most. For example, an ice sculpture demonstration can be risky in March, even if it is a good time to reach your target customers.

TIME

  • The time must suit the type of event, but also the public. For example, a family event must take into account family realities. For example, many children have activities on Saturday mornings.
  • You know the life of your neighborhood. Think of rush hour, opening and closing of shops, etc.

THE PLACE

·         If the event takes place in the company, it is necessary to properly assess the physical capacity to accommodate a large number of participants in the available space. Do you have the opportunity to make temporary renovations?

·         If outside activities have been scheduled, you should immediately think of a plan B in case of bad weather. Will the activities be cancelled, postponed, moved indoors?

·         If you are planning an activity outside the company, you must identify or locate a place that responds to the theme, the objectives and the audience (… and the budget).

Post Covid-19: What will be the future of corporate events?

The pause of non-essential commercial activities and the strict prohibition of social gatherings as part of the measures implemented to prevent the spread of the corona-virus have affected the economic sectors, one of the most vulnerable has been the event organization industry, a item that involves professionals from different disciplines and that supports thousands of families.

Experts

“Ultimately, the priorities will change. We are no longer going to bet on the most beautiful event, but the safest. The first months we will not be able to do big events, now the focus will be for the guests to share, but keeping the required distance”.

Large sums of money are invested annually, in the corporate business event industry; we are talking about more than 122 billion euros. This money is most commonly spent in hotel complexes, city hotels, suburban hotels, conference centers, restaurants, private clubs, and convention centers. It is not surprising, then, that the organization of Corporate Events, and everything that accompanies them, is great business. Some large companies and organizations have their own corporate business event organizers; as part of their staff. Or they have a contract with an event organization agency.

Many others (especially small businesses) are very limited in everything that is planning corporate events; and if they have to, they select an employee of the company as an organizer.

Types of Business Events

Events are the focus of your business as a sponsor; and they can raise brand awareness in a fantastic way. Whether in a corporate environment, a non-profit association, or a government agency, the most popular corporate events usually belong to the modalities that we will analyze below.

Seminars and conferences

Purpose: Plan and hold these meetings with specific audiences; to provide them with relevant and common interest information for all attendees.

A seminar should not be compared to a conference; but both should be an interactive and dynamic event, allowing audience members to interact with attendees to discuss opinions and results. Seminars are educational events that can be used to quickly update your employees' knowledge base, or expose your company's experience on a specific topic. This type of event may vary in style. It can be of the classroom type aimed at educating an audience, or of the field event type; where vendors travel to places to spread their message.

The key to remembering about planning a seminar, is to keep in mind the target market and what your company wants to achieve with that market. So, if you are looking to increase your employees' knowledge base to increase productivity, or educate customers about a new product, a webinar is for you. Seminars often focus on enlightening attendees with a particular message or brand. They have single or multiple speakers, and generally all participants are kept together in the same space. The Conference, however, often have multiple sessions taking place at the same time they are oriented toward different interests, different positions or roles, and even the skill level.

Attendees attend, in order to share knowledge and information. These large events are often aimed at training and education, and can vary depending on the audience. Usually held in hotels, it will start with an opening session and then hold breakout sessions by topic. A conference is generally scheduled for at least half a day, although conferences typically span the course of one to two days or sometimes longer.

Fairs

Purpose: Companies attend fairs, as an activity where they will surely expand contact bases and may even close sales.

They can also choose to organize or sponsor a fair, to reinforce their image as an industry leader; where the guests are, members, clients, potential clients, suppliers and we all know that even the competition also attends.

Incentive programs or integration in employees (Team Building)

The goal is to build the productivity of your employees. This is accomplished through activities that build trust, strengthen relationships, and increase morale.

This is the place where large amounts of money are spent depending on each person. Executive retreats and incentive programs are often held at centers with exclusive destinations, and which receive the highest visibility from an organization. Business development and organization planning are usually on the agenda, but pleasant activities are given equal importance as part of the original incentive and reward. If employees are demotivated and customers seem to be losing interest, then an incentive event might be what you need to rejuvenate your brand.

The event itself should be short but sweet and definitely memorable.

How to Make Proposals of Events with a Good and Correct

When compared with research proposals, of course, general proposals for event activities tend to be easier because they are simpler, however you must also pay attention to the importance of the stages or flow of making the proposal. Between these stages, namely:

  1. Title of Proposal

Make an interesting proposal title so that the parties concerned can be interested in donating all funds to the event that will be held. However, the title that you put on the proposal must still be in accordance with the event's activities.

  1. Preliminary

In the introduction there are supporting sub-chapters, namely the background of the activity and the purpose of the activity. The background is the basic reason why the activity needs to be held. While the purpose of the activity is the outcome of the expected event activity.

  1. Fill out the Activity Proposal

The most important part of the activity proposal is to contain the theme of the activity, the types of activities, participants involved in the event, the equipment needed, the time and place of the activity, the arrangement of events, the composition of the committee, the estimated budget of funds needed during the course of the event.

  1. Closing

As with proposals in general, to the activity proposal also added a closing section containing expectations and support provided to related parties.
